The firm experienced a revenue growth of over 7.5% compared to the previous year, with operating profit also increasing to £49.2 million. Profit per equity partner reached £846,000, showcasing the firm’s strong financial performance across all its primary practice areas.

Brodies attributed its success to growth in areas such as banking and finance, corporate and commercial, dispute resolution and risk, personal and family, and real estate. Each practice area reported its highest income yet, reflecting the firm’s commitment to excellence in client service.

The firm’s workforce expanded by 5% to a total of 837 employees, with strategic lateral partner additions and partner promotions contributing to the growth. Brodies also invested in salary raises and bonus schemes, rewarding employees for their hard work and dedication.

In addition to its financial achievements, Brodies completed the renovation of its offices in Aberdeen and Glasgow, demonstrating its commitment to providing a modern and efficient working environment for its employees.

Looking ahead, Brodies is unveiling its consolidated financial statements for the first time, showcasing the operations of Brodies Middle East LLP in Abu Dhabi. This move reflects the firm’s commitment to serving clients across the region and expanding its global presence.

Managing partner Stephen Goldie expressed confidence in the firm’s future, highlighting the investments made in colleague recognition, workplace upgrades, and technology advancements. He emphasized the firm’s strategic plans for the next three-year cycle and its commitment to delivering first-class service to clients.
