The National Association of Licensed Paralegals (NALP) is gearing up to host their third National Paralegal Day with an evening event at the prestigious House of Commons in London on Wednesday 8th November 2023. The event, scheduled from 7pm to 9pm, will also feature the inaugural NALP Paralegal Achievement Awards.

Amanda Hamilton, the Patron of NALP, emphasized the crucial role that paralegals play in the legal profession, referring to them as the “unsung heroes” who provide access to justice at a reasonable cost. With the decline of legal aid in recent years, paralegals have become essential in helping consumers navigate the legal system.

National Paralegal Day was established to recognize and celebrate the contributions of paralegals to the legal sector. The event is sponsored by prominent organizations such as Mindful Education, Finders International, BARBRI, and the National Paralegal College.
