The new office will house a 13-strong team, including strategic hires such as commercial property partners Paul Adams and John Smart, and private client partner Magnus Mackay. With a focus on providing services in commercial real estate, planning, residential conveyancing, landed estates, wills, powers of attorney, trusts, and succession planning, Thorntons aims to cater to the legal needs of clients in the Highlands and Islands.

The modern premises at Beechwood Business Park in Inverness offer open plan office desks, client meeting areas, and flexible space for collaborative working. The 4000sq ft office can accommodate more than 34 desks, indicating the firm’s commitment to growth and expansion in the region.

Paul Adams, lead partner in Thorntons’ Inverness operation, expressed excitement about the firm’s growth and the strong team that has been assembled in a short period of time. He emphasized the firm’s commitment to providing quality legal services to clients in the Highlands and Islands.
